Steelers' Experience Provides Big Edge

Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers know all about how to handle the insanity of Super Bowl week.FORT WORTH, Texas -- There are all kinds of reasons to like the Packers. They have the hotter quarterback, the hotter defense the deeper roster. They have a fully healthy offensive line. They have a running back the Steelers haven't seen. They have big, quick B.J. Raji at nose tackle, ready to pulverize Pittsburgh's backup center. The two teams look fairly evenly matched, but Green Bay is your Super Bowl favorite, and it's not hard to see why.

But the Steelers have something the Packers don't have, and that's experience. A bucketful of it. They're playing in their third Super Bowl in the past six years. They have 16 guys on the roster who've won the game twice. They will not be intimidated or surprised or in any way shaken up by the loony week of hype they're about to experience. And considering the levels of loony this week brings, that could swing the whole thing in their favor.
