RECAP: New England Revolution 2 - D.C. United 1

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. ? Two first-half goals paced the New England Revolution to a 2-1 victory over D.C. United at Gillette Stadium on Saturday.

Zack Schilawski opened the scoring after eight minutes by firing home in the United penalty area, while Shalrie Joseph doubled the lead from the spot in the 15th minute after Dax McCarty caught Pat Phelan as he attempted to clear from inside his own penalty area.
