Brian Dawkins Likely Out With Knee Injury for Week 13 vs. Chiefs

Broncos safety Brian Dawkins will likely miss Sunday's game against Kansas City because of a right knee injury, coach Josh McDaniels said Monday.

Dawkins suffered the injury in the third quarter of this past Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams. He did not return. Dawkins missed two other games this season when he suffered another knee injury on Oct. 10 against Baltimore.

McDaniels also said Monday that wide receiver Demaryius Thomas would miss the Kansas City game while continuing to recover from an ankle sprain. Thomas was held out of Sunday's game after sustaining the injury in a Nov. 22 loss at San Diego.
