Celtics guard Delonte West broke his right wrist after a nasty fall during the second quarter of Wednesday night's game against the Nets.West tumbled to the floor of the TD Banknorth Garden after completing a layup over New Jersey forward Travis Outlaw with 2:48 remaining in the first half. He stayed there until he was assisted by Celtics medical personnel and soon after departed to the locker room still in obvious pain.
West had recently returned from a 10-game suspension after he pleaded guilty to gun charges over the summer. The suspension didn't deter the Celtics from signing him, and he was providing key depth with usual point guard Rajon Rando sidelined the last three games because of a hamstring injury.
