The FIFA World Cup? Official Announcement Viewing Party, organized by the Washington, D.C. Local Bid Committee, will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010. The United States is bidding to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Washington, D.C. is one of 18 candidate host cities. The general public is invited to attend for FREE.
The event will be held at the Newseum, located at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and 6th Street, N.W. The viewing party will take place in the Great Hall of News.
