Vince Young Will Remain Titans Starting Quarterback, Jeff Fisher Says

Young, the Tennessee Titans' starting quarterback the first two games of the season, will remain in that role despite being pulled from a Week 2 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Coach Jeff Fisher said immediately after the game Sunday Young would start next week.

The Titans play the New York Giants next week.

"Vince is still our starter," Jim Wyatt of the The Tennessean reported Fisher as saying. "He will start next week against the Giants. There is no quarterback controversy. I just thought it was the best decision for the team.'' Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
