Week 4 Wrap Up: Indianapolis Colts

Filed under: Colts, AFC SouthGame: Colts at Jaguars

Score: Jaguars 31, Colts 28.

The storyline: The Colts, with a chance to remain in a first-place tie with the Houston Texans, rallied three times from seven-point deficits but lost to the struggling Jaguars 31-28, when kicker Josh Scobee kicked a 59-yard field goal for Jacksonville on the game's final play.

Key moment: There were actually two for the Colts. Forget the Jaguars' final drive. Yes, Jacksonville drove 36 yards on six plays in :48 seconds, but the Colts committed two turnovers in the red zone in the second half. First, a pass bounced from tight end Brody Eldridge's hands and Jaguars' safety Anthony Smith intercepted at the Jacksonville 4. And at the beginning of the fourth quarter, Colts' wide receiver Reggie Wayne fumbled and Gerald Alexander recovered. That's a rarity for the Colts, who entered the game with just two turnovers in the first three games of the season. Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
