Filed under: Stanford, WashingtonWhile Oregon and USC will grab the national spotlight and the attentions of ESPN GameDay's college football road show Saturday, the NFL scouts will be flocking to Seattle.
Stanford takes on Washington at Husky Stadium. At least a dozen NFL representatives have requested seats in the press box.
The Huskies (3-4, 2-2) are fairly desperate for a win if they want to stay in the bowl picture. The 13th-ranked Cardinal (6-1, 3-1) are off to the program's best start since 1970 and looking to hang on to second place in the Pac-10.
But the Jake Locker vs. Andrew Luck matchup is what brings the pro scouts out on what is supposed to be a chilly, rainy northwest night.
They might see a shootout, considering that the Stanford and Washington defenses have given up a combined 214 points in October. What they will see for sure is two young men who likely will be in their league soon enough.
