Clint Dempsey Tells Fulham Fans He'd Rather Win With the US

Filed under: English Premier League, U.S. Men's National TeamIn case there were any lingering doubts about Clint Dempsey's commitment to the U.S. national team, he erased them in a fun and enlightening Q&A posted Wednesday on Fulham's Web site.

There shouldn't be doubts, of course, but his tendency to drift out of national team games now and then raised questions prior to the World Cup. As the U.S. gathered in Princeton, NJ for its May camp, Dempsey defended his record.
