Notre Dame 'Happy Happy Happy' After Manhandling Boston College

Filed under: Boston College, Notre Dame, ACCBOSTON -- Was there happiness in the Notre Dame locker room after Saturday night's game?

"Oh, happy. Happy, happy, happy -- everybody's happy in Notre Dame land," coach Brian Kelly said after his team ended its three-game losing streak with a 31-13 rout of Boston College.

Added quarterback Dayne Crist: "It feels great. There's no better feeling than winning. Guys are just happy, jumping around the locker room. There's no better feeling."

Happy.

There wasn't much happiness in the other locker room though, as BC lost its second straight after opening the season 2-0 and left the game still not knowing who its quarterback would be for next weeks' game at North Carolina State (and former coach Tom O'Brien)."

More about that later.

First, Notre Dame, now 2-3 and looking at things a lot differently as Pittsburgh and Western Michigan get set to visit South Bend.
