Filed under: Seahawks, NFL Police BlotterThe bad news just keeps coming for Seattle linebacker Leroy Hill.
The sixth-year starter missed the first game of the season while serving a one-game NFL suspension after having pled guilty to misdemeanor drug possession (marijuana) in Georgia earlier in 2009.
Then he injured his Achilles' tendon in his first game back and went on the injured reserve, ending his season before it really started.
And now he's been suspended for an additional week by the NFL for having been arrested in suburban Seattle earlier this year on a domestic violence charge.
Under NFL rules, players on injured reserve who are suspended under the drug, steroid or personal conduct policies serve those suspensions while they are on injured reserve. That means Hill will lose two weeks' worth of salary but will not face missing playing time once he's healthy. Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
