Max Hall Concussion Update: Passed First Test, Could Play Sunday vs. Bucs

Filed under: Atlanta Falcons, NFC West, NFL InjuriesArizona quarterback Max Hall passed his first test Tuesday when neurological tests cleared him to practice with the Cardinals this week, according to The Arizona Republic.

Hall, who suffered a concussion while playing against the Seattle Seahawks last weekend, is expected to practice Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. And if nothing untoward occurs, he should be ready to start Sunday at home against Tampa Bay.

The concussion occurred when he was sacked by defensive end Chris Clemons of the Seahawks on what may have been a helmet-to-helmet hit. There was no penalty called, however, and Hall left the game after the hit and didn't return.

Derek Anderson, the quarterback Hall replaced two games ago, finished up the game and, presumably, will start if Hall can't against the Bucs. Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
