When my wife and I set up our trip to Las Vegas, we knew we were running up against some NHL playoff games. That was okay. It was time for a vacation, and we figured there were televisions in the hotel.
The day of our arrival happened to coincide with an unexpected first-round Game 7, as the Montreal Canadiens faced the Washington Capitals. I'm all about wearing hockey jerseys in weird places, so I made sure to pack my Patrick Roy Canadiens jersey.
I never figured Montreal would win, and I certainly didn't expect the reaction the jersey would get as we walked around Vegas the next day.
